This year, more than 20 teams of beginner dancers will take the stage to celebrate their growth and achievement! Join us! Complete beginners are always welcome.

How can I participate in showcase?

Simply select the style you’d like to learn, and register any time on or after August 19th! To make sure you’re one of the first to know when registration opens, complete the “Contact Me About Showcase” form below.

What’s involved in showcase participation?

We start rehearsing the week of September 9th, and hold weekly 50 minute practices for 15 weeks. You’ll get a chance to practice on stage in your costume at our dress rehearsal on December 7th! Then the next two weeks are spent polishing and refining your showmanship for the big day on December 21st!

Where is the showcase?

This year, our show will be held at the Humanities Theatre on the University of Waterloo Campus! This theatre seats 700 viewers, for the biggest show we’ve ever put on! Your family and friends will be able to purchase tickets in the month leading up to the show. It’s the most supportive, positive, and encouraging performance experience anyone could ask for.

Do I need to have dance experience?

NO! Everyone is welcome to participate. Showcase is about growth and celebrating you! You do not need dance or performance experience to join any of our open level or beginner teams. We will coach you on the choreography, and on how to perform on stage.
